They kept you informed every step of the way so you never feel like you are left out. There are a lot of activities each day like music, games, and coloring, and somebody comes up and does the women's nails. There's something every day going on. It was very hard for my mother to go to these things in the beginning, but they didn't push her until she got used to their ways of getting her to do it. My wife is staying at Parker Jewish Institute For Health Care & Rehabilitation and they're good to her.

Everyone just ignored it but now I feel someone should''ve looked into it. I feel like my grandfather was treated okay, but based on these reviews and subsequent responses to the reviews, I wouldn''t bring my loved one here. Before I saw the responses, I was about to give 4 stars.

My father was a patient at Parker Jewish Institute for short term rehabilitation. He went there for physical and occupational therapy. They are very under staffed and did not provide proper care to the patients. The floor my father was on most of the nurses and aides seemed to be very laxed and inconsiderate with the exception of a few. In particular an Indian doctor and a female Asian nurse were rude and acted in a disturbed manor when asked for help.

My mother is at Parker Jewish Institute, and everything is very good. It's very clean, and they attend to everything but they're just understaffed. They seem to be the most honest, and they were the ones who said they can't make promises. Everybody from the parking attendant up is so friendly and helpful, and anytime I make a phone call, I can get in touch with somebody. There was no lapse in any kind of care even when they'll be in a transition and kept me in the loop.

Honestly, I sleep good at night knowing the staff are taking care of my family member. Their therapy is going extremely well and they are getting stronger each day thanks to Parker Jewish. I am not a family member of anyone affiliated with Parker Jewish nor an employee here or solicited to write this review. I am writing this review of my own volition because I want to share our positive experiences.

The social worker at Parker was rude on the phone and focused on irrelevant mis-information to determine that they could not care for the patient. After speaking with the social worker, I agree that they can't care for the patient. There is no way I would leave her with them. If this is any indication of the care the patients get there, I would stay as far away as possible from Parker. My father was a recent patient at Parker Jewish Institute and the care he received was excellent.

My grandfather has been here multiple times and the property is indeed beautiful. They had a cute petting zoo come by that day. I do think the nurses seem overwhelmed and over worked. It can seem like they snap sometimes.
